Telco Depot is founded on the principle that telephone systems have evolved to the point that a data literate person can install and/or maintain their own equipment. The principals of Telco Depot each have spend their entire careers managing the companies that produce and sell these systems to the Small to Medium Business market. For years we’ve collectively built the dealer networks for various companies including Comdial, Tie, Executone, Tadiran and Allworx. Over time we’ve found a subset of the market that is capable of and in fact demands greater control over their in-house equipment. As Ron often says “my children will not purchase goods and services the way we do” is the driving concept behind the company.

Ron Bregman, President and C.E.O.
A pioneer in the telecommunications industry, Ron is known for blazing new trails where business opportunities and technology converge. As a computer science student at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Ron recognized the tremendous business potential presented by the breakup of the Bell System and the AT&T divesture. In 1984, he began his entrepreneurial career by founding and serving as president of an interconnect supporting installations of large, complex communications systems.
It was the potential of new technologies and integration capabilities of messaging solutions that captured Ron's attention, and in 1989 he launched his second venture, as founder and president of ABS TALKX, Inc. Ron expanded his vision in the messaging market, and in 1996, he founded Long Island Sound Technologies to provide sophisticated, but cost-effective voice and unified messaging solutions to leading telecom manufacturers throughout the world.
In 2001, Ron orchestrated the purchase of ECI Telecom's Business Systems division and was instrumental in negotiating and executing the strategic distribution agreement with Sprint Products Group to OEM Tadiran products in the US. In November 2001, Ron became president and CEO of Tadiran Telecom Business Systems Ltd. and chairman and CEO of Tadiran Telecom, Inc.
Tom Grinde - MBA, V.P. Sales
With 31 years in the telephone industry with a focus on the SMB space, Tom has a unique perspective having developed many key system products, built many dealer and distributor networks, but also started and grew a regional interconnect company to become the 4th largest Comdial US dealer in 2000.
Tom ran the first Comdial Dealer Network in the 80’s prior to starting his own company in 1990. In 2002 he joined Ron Bregman as VP, Sales at Tadiran running sales and marketing for the North and South American markets. In 2006, Tom was recruited by Allworx as EVP Sales where he developed and implemented their current go to market channel strategy and provided much input into the development of the Key System Features leading up to Ver 7.0 and led the design of the 9200 series phones.
