On the Xblue X16 system if you are looking to connect a paging system you would need to have a unused line port where you can connect the PA-2A paging system. Well today we had a customer that was using all 6 of the line ports on the system and did not realize that the PA-2A paging system will not connect to the system. Now in a panic he is calling Telco Depot for help with his system.
We had some of our people in the Tech department come up with a solution to his problem. Here is a list of parts that you will need.
1. An Xblue X16 phone
3. Valcom V-1030C 5 Watt Speaker
4. Modification of an X16 Phone
With this modification you will dial the X16 extention of this modified phone and will be able to Page over the speaker. If you make this phone ring on an incomming call it will also be a loud ringer.
