Having many contacts and not enough buttons on your VoIP phone is no longer a problem when using the TDXXXX VoIP Phone system. You can add hundreds of contacts using the integrated phone book and assign each contact a speed dial that can be used from any phone on your system. To do so, follow these few simple steps:

1. After logging into your system (Elastix) click on the Unembedded freePBX link.

2. Select the Asterisk Phonebook module and fill out the details. Do note to fill the number exactly as you would dial it.

As for the Speed Dial code, assign any number between 1 and 999.

3. hit the submit button and you are done.

To use the speed dial you have just created simply dial *0xxx where xxx is the speed dial code you want to use.
