Syspine Response Point Telephone System

This is an IP based system which means it uses your Local Area Network or LAN to connect all of the VoIP telephones to the control unit.  To set the system up, you simple take the control unit out of the box and connect your existing telephone lines into the back.  You can buy this control unit equipped for either 4 or 8 POTS lines.  26709057

Next we’ll connect the control unit to the LAN by plugging a patch cord into our Ethernet Switch; plug in the power adapter and we’re done.

Programming is a snap; first run the CD that comes with the system to install the highly intuitive programming interface on any pc connected to the LAN.  Notice how the software automatically discovers the control unit and we’re ready to start adding users.

Now, I click on add user and enter the name here.  A user can be a person, a group like Sales or Support or even a location like a conference room.  Each new user is automatically assigned voicemail and all of the intuitive system features you need to simplify your small business communication.

Now let’s add a VoIP phone.  Each Response Point VoIP phone has two Ethernet ports right on the back. One is for connection to the LAN and the other is to extend the LAN to your PC.  For this demonstration we’re using one of our Netgear Power of Ethernet switches to eliminate the need for a power adapter at each phone.  You’ll find these under Network Gear on the left side of our website.

Once I plug the VoIP phone in, it will self initialize.  The software will auto discover the VoIP phone and I will assign a user to this phone and watch how quickly it assigns the name and extension number; that’s it, you now have a working phone.

Let’s quickly plug up a second phone.  Connect the Ethernet cable, assign the user and the phone will initialize as the new user.

Making an intercom call is very simple.  Press the blue Response Point button and speak a command.
“Call Paul”.   Transferring a call is just a simple when you use the blue button, transfer to Paul, (wait for the call to ring then hang is up)

Finally we’re going to add the new Response Point softphone.  We will e-mail you this application once you purchase the Response Point system from Telco Depot.  Run the executable file and follow the prompts.  The Response Point softphone has all the same features and the same look at the IP 310 VoIP phone.

We’ve shown you how simple the Response Point system is to setup and use.  Give us a call at 800-390-1200 if you have any questions of check out our great prices on systems below.
