In the next few minutes I will present you with the benefits and ease of setup and use of this very sophisticated phone recording system that can be adapted to practically any phone equipment or business phone system you may have.
Well, it is much easier and affordable than you think. Our “Phone Recorder” system allows you to do just that and much more.
This system has ONLY two components, the USB Phone recorder device and the included PC application which manages all the options of the telephone system.
The recorder records from 3 different sources; your phone’s HANDSET; an OPTIONAL attached HEADSET or record conversations in the ROOM.
While recording, you can pause allowing you to “skip” music on hold, transfers and other “dead” air. This saves you space on your PC and makes review easier during playback.
Since it’s connected to your phone’s HANDSET, the Phone Recorder can be used with ANY Analog, Digital orVoIP phone either for business or home use.
When recording from the HANDSET, or the optional HEADSET, the recorder is recording BOTH sides of the conversation, creating a crisp high quality sound file stored on your PC or on a remote storage.
Remote locations offer an added layer of security and can be sent to a PC on the same Local Area Network, any valid EMAIL address or to an FTP server on the other side of the world.
Using the included software, it’s very easy to configure the record file format. These files can be stored and converted to and from these 3 different formats automatically or manually:
1. Standard uncompressed WAV format
2. Compressed GSM format
3. Compressed MP3 format
The recorder is NOT limited JUST to Telephone System recording. It’s highly sensitive internal microphone allows for ROOM recording as well, creating the same crisp high quality sound files for all your meeting.
The recorded files can then be played in any of the following ways:
1. Use your PCs speakers
2. Use your favorite sound “player” to play the files. This allows you to share the recordings with anyone and have them listen to it using their own favorite sound “player”.
3. Listening to a recording via the HANDSET during a phone call, so BOTH you and the remote party can hear the playback.
4. Listening to a recording on the optional attached HEADSET.
Installation and setup is a breeze. The system is up and running in less than 5 minutes depending on your computer and internet speeds. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Open the box and follow the steps in the quick setup guide
2. Download and install the software from our website.
3. After the last installation step; rebooting your PC, connect the supplied USB cable between the recorder and your PC. Windows will proceed to install the drivers.
(This is done automatically and at the end of this process Windows will announce that the hardware is ready for use. You will notice there are 3 solid and 1 blinking red LEDs on the recorder together with the green power LED.)
4. Disconnect the “coiled” cable between the phone’s base and the HANDSET. Do this from the HANDSET side leaving it disconnected.
Connect the free end of the cable to the connector at the back of the recorder labeled “BASE” (it is next to the USB connector)
5. Connect the supplied “coiled” cable between the HANDSET and the connector labeled “HANDSET” on the side of the recorder.
6. Start the application by double clicking on the application’s icon on your desktop. The application will initialize the Recorder “clearing” all the red LEDs and will now show “Idle” status.
That’s all there is to it. You are ready to make your first recording on your telephone system
