TelcoDepot.com, a provider of phone systems, VoIP equipment, business VoIP service, hosted PBX solutions, conferencing
systems, assorted phone accessories, phone system support services and phone equipment including phone headsets and more for
small businesses, will soon be adding the new Xblue X-44 Multi-line VoIP phone system to its online phone store. The X-44 will be launched this April.

The Xblue X-44 represents the next generation of multi-line phones with “server-less design”, comprehensive small
business phone features, small business voicemail system (optimized with a private mail box for each user and a full-featured voicemail, not just a basic
answering machine), complete automated attendant call processing, and more.

Key benefits for small business include a modular telephone console option which provides 24 additional buttons to each phone (for one-touch intercom,
speed-dialing, and busy telephone indication lights), wired or wireless “self-install” design for distributed power with PoE option (no power
supply needed), completely wireless installation option, digitally integrated Wi-Fi bridge, uses premium VoIP phone lines (save money on telephone company
phone lines, plus all taxes and fees included – can save another 20 – 25%), choice of multiple authorized VoIP providers (user can choose best deal from
preferred provider), no contracts or termination fees (end user can easily change providers if not satisfied), and the system uses the existing network
and connects up to 4 VoIP lines (SIP trunks), up to 16 X-44 VoIP phones, and up to 16 private lines (DID numbers).

Another major selling point of the Xblue X-44 is its “server-less design” – each X-44 phone system is an intelligent IP
voice processing device and layer 2 Ethernet switch, allowing all phones to automatically synchronize while the Xblue Wi-Fi Bridge connects to each phone,
eliminating all wiring needs in the process.

Automatic call transfer to a cell phone (immediate transfer of calls to a remote telephone or cell phone) will also be available
on the X-44.

Key X-44 phone system features include full duplex
speakerphone, 6 line backlit LCD display, 4 interactive LCD buttons, “cell
phone like” navigation keys, personal phonebook, caller ID, detailed call log,
modular (24) button console, one-touch intercom dialing with busy telephone
indication lights (optional), call hold, call transfer, 3-way conference call,
internal paging, redial, headset jack, integrated layer 2 Ethernet switch and
power over the Ethernet (PoE).

Auto receptionist features include day and night system
greetings, day and night service modes, call routing to extensions, dial 0 to
reach the attendant, customizable ring assignment and up to 4-port auto
attendant.

Voicemail features include password protection, personal
mailbox greeting, message waiting indication, message play-skip-delete, voice
mail playback, audio storage in IP phone and 4 hours of message storage per
phone.

Call features include busy line indication, call blocking
(incoming & outgoing list), call forwarding, call hold & hold reminder,
call log (answered, missed, dialed), call transfer, call timer &
duration, calling line identification (CID), calling name identification
(extension ID), company directory, conferencing – 3 way, direct inward dialing
(DID) on SIP trunks, distinctive ring tone, do not disturb (DND), hands free
support, headset support, last number redial, message waiting indicator, multi
languages, mute, paging, telephone line appearance (display), telephone line
buttons (4), phone lock, private phonebook, sidecar (EDM, optional), speed dial
and volume control.

How To Install and Perform a Backup of the Allworx phone system

If you do not have the Office Safe application installed on your PC, start here. If you do have the Office Safe application, proceed below to ‘How To Perform a Backup’

How To Download and Install the Allworx Office Safe Application:

Open a new Internet browser

Navigate to the Allworx Portal, log in, and go to the Software section.

Scroll down a little bit to the section titled ‘Office Safe’. Click on the link to begin downloading the Office Safe application.

Save the file to your computer. When the file is done downloading, close your Internet browser, locate the file you just downloaded, and double click on it to begin the installation.

When the installation is complete, there will be an icon on your desktop to launch the Office Safe application.

How To Perform a Backup:

To perform a backup of the Allworx Phone system, we will need to configure the backup routine. Start an Internet browser window. Navigate to the Admin console of the Allworx server.

Click on the Maintenance link, then on Time. Note the time the server is reporting.

Click on the Maintenance link, then on Backup. Click the Modify button.

Change the time listed to the time that you would like the backup to start. NOTE: The time that is listed on your local computer system may not be the same time as your Allworx server- to check the server time, from the maintenance link, choose ‘Time’ and note the time on the Allworx server.

Edit the ‘IP Address’ to be the same as the computer that will be running the Office Safe application. (If you do not know what that address is, minimize the browser window and launch the Office Safe application. Your systems IP address is listed in the upper right corner under ‘current settings’).

Leave the Port setting alone, it should be 5001.

Change the backup frequency to your preference.

Leave the mode at ‘incremental’. If you have not performed a backup from your local computer, then the Allworx box will automatically perform a ‘full’ backup. If you have performed a backup previously, the Allworx box will perform an ‘incremental’ backup, which means it will only back up files that are different from what is stored on the local computer, or that have changed recently.

Click the Update button to save your changes.

To perform a backup now, first make sure the Office Safe application is running on your local system, then click the ‘Backup Now’ button on this page.

The backup will run automatically. You can check the progress of the Backup from the Office Safe application. When it is done, you can close the Office Space application.

Telcodepot is excited to announce that we have greatly enhanced the XBLUE X-50 Phone System “Self-Install” value proposition with the new X-50 WiFi IP Telephone
Adapter. Installing a telephone system has never been easier.

The Xblue X-50 WiFi Adapter simply plugs into the Ethernet connection of the X-50 IP Telephone. The X-50 WiFi adapter immediately locates
and synchronizes with the X-50 Wireless Server. In just seconds the X-50 IP Telephone automatically configures and is ready to go, absolutely no adapter or
phone programming is required. This is the simpest “Do it yourself” Phone system for home or small office.

With the Xblue X-50 WiFi adapter we’ve actually eliminated the need for any IP Telephone cabling whatsoever as you can use as many X-50 WiFi

SOON AVAILABLE at Telcodepot.com your source for Phone Systems
The NEW next generation phone system the Talkswitch VSX

TalkSwitch phone systems are about to get more powerful, yet even simpler. Thanks to the new ARM
9 processor, the 2012 TalkSwitch system line-up has more capacity, more memory,
built-in external IP extensions and all-new expansion licenses.

The new VSX phone system is beautifully simple, with three core units, the 24vsx, 48vsx and
84vsx.

Each VSX phone system comes loaded with 20 auto attendants, 16 remote extensions and the
voicemail broadcast feature. All three systems support external IP extensions with high quality G.711 voice encoding.

The features, functionality and multiple unit networking all work the same way as
the current VS systems do, so there’s no learning curve to tackle. The VSX phone
systems can even be networked with VS systems, so you won’t run into
compatibility issues for existing customers who want to grow.

The core units can be expanded with three new license-coded products:

Add VoIP Trunking

The VoIP Trunking license adds capacity for up to 8 concurrent VoIP calls and
enables the G.729 codec on external IP extensions. No hardware upgrade
required. MSRP $300.

Add extensions

TheExtension Expansion license adds 8 IP extensions to the 24vsx or to the 48vsx.
This license is also compatible with the 240vs, 244vs and 248vs systems (to a
maximum of 24 extensions). MSRP $300.
Add memory

The base memory on VSX units has been doubled from the VS series to 4 hours. The
Memory Expansion license adds another 8 hours. MSRP $200.
